In screening her patients for Sleep Breathing Disorders, like Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Dr Welch uses a simple pulse-oximetry unit the patient can take home, wear overnight and return for evaluation with our SBD screening software.

This simple tool can help YOU and Dr Welch assess your needs before a referral to your physician is given. If this simple pulse-oximetry device shows any signs of a SBD, then a simple referral can be given to your primary physician or directly to a Sleep Physician for an medical evaluation and possible laboratory sleep study.

Furthermore, Dr Susan also uses this instrumentation to assess and titrate appliance therapy for her OSA patients. Working with your Sleep Physician to make sure your sleep appliance is correctly fitted, and is allowing the best airway management.
